Youth/Teen Ministry
Purpose
To help teens develop a genuine relationship with God through love and obedience to His Word by providing alternative settings apart from corporate worship, where they have opportunities to hear and respond to personal and cultural topics from biblical perspectives that are relevant to their age group.
Reaching the Youth
-
Objective
- As Psalms 149 and 150 instruct us to praise God with dance, the Praise Dance Ministry attempts to do just that by combining liturgical dance with gospel music. Liturgical dance requires the dancer to bare his or her soul in worship.
- Our desire is to allow God to use the ministry to bring the congregation to a deeper level of understanding. The Praise Dancers should not be thought of as a performance group but as a ministry.
