Objective

• The Marriage Retreat is designed to create an opportunity for couples to strengthen their marriage by deepening their relationship with God and enhance their understanding of God’s purpose for marriage and family.
• Receive biblically based insights and marriage principles that you can apply to your daily lives from ministerial speakers.
• An opportunity to have relaxing one on one time to rediscover the reason you fell in love with your partner.

Time Requirement

• 1-2 nights per event
• Once per year

Objective

• A couples evening in an environment that is fun and often hilarious. Couples participated in Karaoke and enjoyed a night of laughter with a Christian comedian. During our first event, Small Fire blessed us with her gift to bring laughter and her testimony.

• Fellowship with other couples through food, games and competitive social activities and help build successful relationships with one another.

Objective

• This couples outing included viewing Christian movies. We previous watched The War Room, a compelling faith-based drama about the power of prayer and its effect on a marriage, parenting and family.
• Discussion are led by Pastor John L. Byrd on the impactful movie and couples shared marriage testimonies to enrich and encourage one another.

Time Requirement

• 2 hours of Movie Time .
• 2 hours of Fellowship.

Objective

• Fellowship with other couples at a bowling event where you’ll enjoy competition and sportsmanship.

Time Requirement

• Saturday 2 - 3 hours
