Silver Adult Ministry

Purpose

The mission of the Silver Adult Ministry is REACHING and DEEPENING senior adults age 55 and older. In the pursuit of this purpose the Silver Adult Ministry will emphasize five areas of Ministry:

  1. The Ministry of Worship and Intercession – Prayer - John 15:17
  2. The Ministry of Nurture; Fellowship - John 13:34-35
  3. The Ministry of Service –John 15:13
  4. The Ministry of Teaching – Word – John 8:31-32 to
  5. The Ministry of Evangelism – Witness – John 15:8.

Monthly Silver Adult Meeting

  • When: 2nd and 4th Thursday of each month from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM
  • Where: Jubilee’s Fellowship Hall

Inspirational Volunteers

  • Objective

    • To encourage seniors to use their God-given gifts and talents as they continue to be a vital part of the overall ministry of the church by means of Christian discipleship.

  • Time Requirement

    • 2 -3 hours on 2nd and 4th Thursdays’ for all volunteers.
    • Set up - 1 hour prior to starting seniors’ event.
    • Clean up - 20 minutes at the conclusion of the seniors’ event.
